Physician Assistants

Stephanie Maclary, PA-C

Stephanie Maclary, PA-C has once again joined Panzer Dermatology Associates working in the capacity of a Physician Assistant!

Stephanie graduated from the Drexel University Physician Assistant Program in October 2003, earning a Master's degree in Health Sciences. Stephanie is also a Registered Nurse, graduating from Beebe School of Nursing in 1996. As a RN, Stephanie worked at Panzer Dermatology Associates for 5 years before entering PA school.

As a PA, Stephanie will be working in conjunction with the physicians at Panzer Dermatology Associates to treat patients with a variety of common skin conditions, including skin cancer, acne, warts, eczema, and psoriasis. She also performs some surgical procedures, such as benign lesion and skin cancer removal.

Stephanie is certified as a Physician Assistant by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Delaware Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology PAs.

Stephanie looks forward to seeing familiar patient faces at Panzer Dermatology, as well as having the opportunity to meet many of the patients who are new to our practice.


Megan Bovero, PA-C

Megan joined Panzer Dermatology in October of 2007.

She graduated from the Philadelphia University Physician Assistant Program in August 2004, earning a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Science and Health from the University of Utah.  Before coming to Panzer Dermatology, Megan worked in Media, Pennsylvania assisting a Mohs Surgeon in skin cancer removal.

As a PA at Panzer Dermatology, Megan works in conjunction with Dr. Scott Panzer, treating patients with a variety of common skin conditions, including skin cancer, acne, warts, eczema, and psoriasis. She also performs surgical procedures, such as benign lesion and skin cancer removal.

Megan is certified as a Physician Assistant by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Megan is dedicated to her patients in making sure they receive quality care.  When Megan is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.


Michele Compton PA-C, BS, RN, BSN

Michele started her career in the medical field as a registered nurse working in the operating room.  Wanting to further her education, she attended MCP Hahnemann University's Physician Assistant Program upon graduation in August of 2000, Michele went on to complete a one year surgical residency program at Norwalk Hospital/ Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut.  Before joining Panzer Dermatology Associates in January 2007, she worked for five years in plastic and reconstructive surgery in New Haven, Connecticut.

Michele works in conjunction with Dr. Christopher Conti to treat patients with cancerous and precancerous lesions.  She performs full skin examinations and minor surgical procedures including benign lesions and skin cancer removal.

Michele is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.  She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Delaware Academy of Physicians, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.


Jessica Burhans, MPH, PA-C

Jessica attended and graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2001 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Biotechnology.  She furthered her education at Nova Southeastern University, earning both her Physician Assistant degree and Master's degree in Public Health in 2003.  

Upon graduation, Jessica worked as a surgical Physician Assistant at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in Naples. She then transitioned into Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for three years at the Cleveland Clinic Florida, and at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.

Jessica joined Panzer Dermatology Associates in March 2008, working with Dr. Christopher Conti in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.  As a Physician Assistant, Jessica works in conjunction with Dr. Conti to treat patients with cancerous and precancerous lesions.  She performs full skin examinations and minor surgical procedures including benign lesion (moles, cysts, etc.) and skin cancer removal.

Jessica is a certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Delaware Academy of Physician Assistants, Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants.


Mike Bevers PA-C

Mike Bevers PA-C joined Panzer Dermatology Associated in August 2007. Mike graduated from the US Army Physician Assistant Program in 1997 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas. Mike has practiced in Neurosurgery, Family Practice, Urgent Care, and, for the past eight years, Dermatology.
 
As a PA, Mike works in conjunction with the physicians at Panzer Dermatology Associates to treat patients with a variety of common skin conditions, including skin cancer , acne, warts, eczema, and psoriasis. He also perform some surgical procedures, such as benign lesion and skin cancer removal.
 
Mike is certified as a Physician Assistant by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is also a member of the Society of Dermatology PAs.

Kerri Lynn Coates - Aesthetician

Kerri Lynn Coates joined Panzer Dermatology Associates in 2000, after completing her Aesthetic training at The Skin Care School and Center in New Castle, Delaware. Some of her training included Physiology and Histology of the skin, dermatological disorders of the skin, ingredient and product analysis, methods of hair removal, professional and corrective make-up techniques and pre and post-op skin care.

During her tenure at Panzer Dermatology Associates, Kerri has performed a variety of cosmetic procedures. Some of these procedures include microdermabrasion, superficial chemical peels, laser hair removal and photorejuvenation. Kerri also assists the physicians with patient care, as well as some surgical procedures.

Kerri maintains a current license through the state of Delaware, and regularly attends cosmetic seminars and training classes for continuing education, including The International Congress of Aesthetics.

Kerri resides in Hockessin, Delaware with her husband and stepson. Some personal interests include running, pilates, reading and shopping for antiques.
