Peter B. Panzer, M.D.

Dr. Panzer is the founder of Panzer Dermatology Associates, starting his practice in 1978. He was in solo practice for 11 years until joined by his brother, Dr. Scott Panzer in 1989, and since then the practice has continued to expand so that now it includes six physicians and a staff of over 35 other dedicated employees. Dr. Panzer enjoys all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology, and also performs a number of cosmetic procedures. His favorite cosmetic procedures include sclerotherapy for spider veins on the legs, and injection of collagen and hyaluronic acid (fillers) for facial wrinkles and depressions. In medical dermatology, he cares for a large number of patients with psoriasis, and has developed significant expertise in this area.

Dr. Panzer is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also is a member of multiple other professional organizations including the Delaware Academy of Dermatology, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, National Psoriasis Foundation and his state and county medical societies. Every year for many years now, he has been voted by his peers as a TOP DOC in the Delaware Today annual poll.

Dr. Panzer lives in the Greenville area with his wife, and has three grown sons. Hobbies include tennis and travel.


Scott M. Panzer, M.D.

Scott Panzer, M.D. joined his older brother, Peter, at Panzer Dermatology Associates in 1989 after completing his residency in dermatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Panzer has a broad range of expertise in the medical and surgical management of skin, hair, and nail diseases. Common conditions he treats are warts, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer, utilizing state of the art treatments.

Cosmetic interests include spider vein sclerotherapy, laser treatment of vascular lesions such as port wine stains, spider veins, and other blood vessel growths, chemical peels with TCA for skin rejuvenation and surgical removal of various benign growths.

Dr. Panzer is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. Other professional memberships include: Delaware Academy of Dermatology, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, Philadelphia Dermatological Society, National Psoriasis Foundation, American Medical Association, Medical Society of Delaware, and New Castle County Medical Society.

Dr. Panzer lives in Media, Pennsylvania with his wife, who is an anesthesiologist, and their three children. His hobbies include tennis, guitar, and spedning time with his son and twin daughters.


Helen Ann Mashek, M.D.

Dr. Helen Ann Mashek joined Panzer Dermatology Associates in 1996. She is interested in all aspects of skin care, including medical dermatology and cosmetic procedures. She is dedicated to her practice and enjoys working with adult and pediatric patients. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Mashek graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School. She completed residencies in Internal Medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Dermatology at SUNY – Buffalo. She enjoys teaching and scholarly pursuits. She gives educational lectures to residents of the Christiana Health Care System as well as to community groups. Her research and clinical work is published in leading dermatology journals.

Dr. Mashek is active in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, Philadelphia Dermatologic Society, Delaware Academy of Dermatology and the Women's Dermatologic Society. On a personal note, Dr. Mashek enjoys family life with her husband and two young daughters.


Christopher M. Conti, M.D.

Christopher M. Conti, M.D. is a board certified Dermatologist, a Mohs and Reconstructive fellowship trained surgeon, and skin cancer specialist.

Dr. Conti is originally from upstate New York and received his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He then completed two years of internal medicine at SUNY Health Sciences Center in Syracuse, New York, followed by a one year fellowship in Photodynamic Therapy and Cutaneous Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Conti then completed a three year Dermatology residency at SUNY Health Sciences Center at Buffalo, where he also served as chief resident, and subsequently received his board certification in Dermatology. Finally, he completed a Mohs College approved fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Reconstruction under the direction of Dr. Anthony Benedetto in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Paul Sabini, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Paul Sabini specializes exclusively in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sabini's passion for aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and his dedication and commitment to his patients is evident to all that meet him. He is Board Certified by the American Association of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS).

Dr. Sabini is a distinguished educator and contributor to scientific literature, evidenced by his many publications and presentations. His extensive lectures for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery include presentations in Honolulu, New York, San Francisco, Orlando, Palm Beach, Scottsdale, San Antonio, New Orleans, Washington DC, Palm Desert, and Los Angeles. Prestigious scientific journals such as Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics, Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, American Journal of Neuroradiology, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Archives of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, and the American Journal of Otolaryngology have published his articles and book chapters.

Dr. Sabini has collaborated on many of the most advanced artistic and scientific techniques in facial plastic surgery today, including the midcheek facelift and endoscopic browlift. His contributions to research, which are impressive by anyone's standards, cover such topics as cleft palate, soft tissue augmentation, cartilage tissue engineering, facial nerve function and growth factors to name a few.

After graduating cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Dr. Sabini obtained his medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He began his training in a surgical residency at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center. He continued his Otolaryngology Head and Neck residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear infirmary, working with true leaders in the field of aesthetic surgery. The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery awarded Dr. Sabini a fellowship at the University of Rochester at Lindsay House. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgeons and the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, and a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners with a medical license in Delaware and New York.

Lori Spencer, M.D., Ph. D.

Lori A. Spencer, M.D., Ph.D. graduated summa cum laude, with Biological Sciences Departmental Honors from the University of Pittsburgh.  She attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and was awarded her Ph.D. (Immunology) in May 2002 and her M.D. May 2004.  She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Golden Key National Honor Society and the Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor Society. She was a recipient of the College of Arts and Sciences Alumnae Merit Award and the College of Arts and Sciences University Scholar.

Dr. Spencer was a volunteer physician at Birmingham Dermatology Clinic for underserved populations from 2006-2007.  She participated with Women in Medicine during 1996-1998. She served as co-chair for Physicians for Social Responsibility during 1997-1998 and contributed as an advisor for FAST (Faculty and Students Together), as well as PALS (Pregnant Adolescents Learning with Students).

Dr. Spencer is not only a physician here, but she has also taken part in many teaching and leadership opportunities.  She was a Student Academic Counselor at the University of Pittsburgh Learning Skills Center from 1994-1996 and peer tutored for University of Pittsburgh Medical Students from 1997-1998. She also volunteered for ‘Young Women in Science Day', and was a Teaching Assistant for a Medical Microbiology Course.

Her interests are cooking, pottery and running. She completed both the Cincinnati marathon and Marine Corps marathon in 2006.


Heidi Kozic, M.D.

Dr. Kozic is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon who specializes in skin cancer treatment. A Wilmington native, Dr. Kozic graduated cum laude from Lafayette College and earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed an internal medicine internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center and obtained her residency training in dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She then completed a Mohs College and ACGME approved fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dr. Victor Marks.

Dr. Kozic is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the Delaware Academy of Dermatology, the Medical Society of Delaware and the the American Medical Association.

Dr. Kozic lives in Philadelphia with her husband and son. Her hobbies include tennis, golf and skiing.
